WIWTW #9

But first...

Some News (That I Actually Care About)

Orlando Bloom's career can be pretty much summed up as The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and Pirates of the Caribbean. Not such a bad thing I guess as it's been announced that he'll be appearing in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales which is due in 2017. @Hollywood Life

Colin Trevorrow is officially the director of Star Wars: Episode IX. So far he's known for the very excellent Short Term 12 and the very OK Jurassic World. @Star Wars

Terence Stamp had suffered an almost fatal accident on the set of Bitter Harvest. Here's to wishing the 77 year-old a speedy recovery. @The Hollywood Reporter

It seems like Universal can do no wrong as Straight Outta Compton rocketed to a stunning $60.2 million weekend debut. Meanwhile, the less that's said about Fantastic Four, the better. @Variety

What kind of world are we living in if Sony could seriously be considering a Bad Boys sequel WITHOUT Will Smith. Let's not go there, pretty please? @AV Club
